Information received by Crimestoppers reported a number of people who were heavily involved in drug dealing. The caller named several persons who were the main dealers and as a result of the information local police obtained a warrant and raided the house. Five people were arrested and charged accordingly.

Raids were carried out on a number of premises. Certain operational activity caught drug dealers red handed, buying or selling drugs.

On other occasions large quantities of drugs were recovered from a tip off, and soon officers were able to make related arrests. In most cases the assets of drug dealers are confiscated. This includes money, cars and even property.
